Canopus needs little introduction I feel, this is the CMR kit which I built last year for Telford. Easily the most expensive kit I have bought so far at £125, but honestly worth it I think.

Entirely produced in resin and of very high quality, and very detailed I did enjoy the build and all credit to CMR as it wasn't that difficult really. Karl made the special Speedbird logo base for me to my design, and my husband painted it with proper car paint at work.

That picture was taken moments after the model was finished (check out the still milky windows) but last night I took a few new photos using my current photo setup.

The model isn't actually fully finished, there are a few small bits that I didn't do due to lack of time and the worry of damage in transportation. Mainly things like control surface actuators, I will endeavour to finish them off properly before this years display Wink

Beautiful model Jen. I have seen your photographs of this model before, but it is nontheless impressive for that fact. Just one thing, it is not immediately obvious to me what scale this kit is? (there will be many modellers who are not conversant with CMR products).

Cheers

Derek
