| Jen I hold you totally responsible for these purchases. Visited the local model shop today and rather than leave empty handed I found a 1/72 S.6B and Curtis H-16 flying boat. I don't even build in 1/72 , ah well I will give them a try. Doc | |

| OOooooooh, I heart that Curtiss! The S.6 is the old Frog kit I think. If you'd have said, I have a couple each of the Frog and the Airfix that you could have had to play with. Curtiss would be lovely for SMW.... hint hintJen. | |

| Very nice buys Doc (what scale do you usually work in?). I look forward to seeing them built.
Apart from the Emily kit, I am also looking out for a 1/72 Matin Mariner and ShinMaywa US-1A.
Cheers

When buying these kits I think there was 2 Mariner kits on the shelf also but they may have been 1/144, I will have another look when I next visit. To be honest Derek anything less than 1/48 causes nothing but frustration for me, should make the rigging on the Curtiss a bundle of joy! Cheers Doc | |
