PostSubject: Air/Sea rescue Flying Boat:Dornier Do.24T   Mon Oct 31, 2011 11:40 pm

It's a while since I've posted here, and a while since I've built a waterborne aircraft,
but here is my newest build. Built for a group build elsewhere, it's a Dornier Do.24T
of SeeNotStaffel 7, based at Sebastopol in 1943 for ASR duties in the Black Sea.

Built in 1/72 from the Revell (ex-Italeri) kit, painted in Humbrol enamels, finished in
the kit's decals (nasty silvering things!) with Xtradecal Swastikas. Colours are RLM72/73/65.

An easy build of a nice kit! Attaching the wing is a bit fiddly with all those struts, but
everything else is straightforward. . .
